If you are having trouble viewing any PDFs try disabling PDF/A mode. This usually fixes any issues with viewing documents.

Open Adobe Reader 9 (Start > All Programs > Adobe Reader 9)

Click on Edit > Preferences.

In the Preferences window, click on the “Documents” category on the left side category listing.

Change the PDF/A View Mode drop down menu from “Only for PDF/A documents” to “Never”.
