    THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...
    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A LAKE EFFECT
    SNOW WATCH FOR THE WESTERN ADIRONDACKS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM
    THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.
    * LOCATIONS...NORTHERN HERKIMER AND HAMILTON COUNTIES.
    * HAZARD TYPES...POTENTIALLY HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...7 INCHES OR GREATER.
    * MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATES...1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR AT TIMES.
    * TIMING...A LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP JUST
    SOUTH OF THE SAINT LAWRENCE VALLEY ON THURSDAY. THIS SNOW BAND
    IS EXPECTED TO DRIFT SOUTHWARD INTO NORTHERN HERKIMER AND
    HAMILTON COUNTIES TOWARDS DARK. LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS COULD
    IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE WESTERN ADIRONDACKS THROUGH MUCH OF
    THURSDAY NIGHT BEFORE SHIFTING SOUTHWARD AND WEAKENING ON
    FRIDAY.
    * IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND POOR VISIBILITY WITHIN LAKE
    EFFECT SNOW BANDS.
    * WINDS...WEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
    * TEMPERATURES...LOWER TEENS THURSDAY NIGHT TO MID 20S ON FRIDAY.
