The ELCS Lions scored a 4-0 victory over AVCS in the 1st game of the 2011 season, while Lions' goalie Brock Marvin returned to action for the first time since his freshman season. Marvin had heart transplant surgery in December 2010

“Getting cleated in the leg wasn’t a bad thing there,” Marvin said. “It felt good to feel something again. It felt good to be able to be aggressive and playing again.”
