Another beautiful and very busy week and weekend. The flowers are beginning to bloom, and the leaves are starting.
What a beautiful weekend. Warm, nice breeze and NO bugs.
So sorry to hear about the death of Duane (Dewey) Millington.
What changeable weather we have been having. Friday was a very icy day and dangerous. Many accidents with the ice that even had some of the Northway closed.
It sure does seem great to see bare ground beginning to show. I was thinking we were going to have snow for a couple more months. We seem to get in a hurry when spring arrives.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed sharing a meal with family and friends.
Spring has arrived and also another snowstorm.
Winter is about to disappear as far as the calender. Well, take a ride to Bakers Mills and you will see it will be weeks before spring arrives.
Another up and down week. Guess we saw a little snow each day and a lot on Wednesday.
Many people plan attending the concert of “Third Day” at the Glens Falls Civic on March 1. Kathy Allen worked hard to get the tickets for about 30-plus seats.
It seems so good to have the days get a little longer, but by the temperature and the wind we sure do know that spring is not here yet.
Shannon Moffitt was able to go home from St. Peters but will have to have tests and wait about surgery.
Rob and Irma Russell are doing OK after being hit on Quaker Road one day last week.
It has been great to have a few days with warmer weather.
It seems pretty quiet now as far as finding out news. Please call or email me with your news.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.
William Moffitt is a patient in Glens Falls Hospital.
Merle Coulter is home from being in rehab at Sunnyview. She is on the gain and is glad she is doing good.
Hope everyone had a great weekend with the high temperatures. Guess being in Bakers Mills area the high temps don't seem normal. Today is quite comfortable.
