Hope everyone that likes to celebrate St. Patrick's Day had some of the traditional food that is tipical for this special holiday.

How exciting it has been for me this last couple of days, the snow is nearly gone, and there is evidence of new life sprouting up from the cold ground, and even can see the buds on the tree's starting to show us that the season is changing.

As the season is making changes I find that no matter what source the news of the world comes at me it is mostly depressing and only seems to stress the bad in the world.

Once again weather has many changes but we are still looking for that spring that we hope is just around the corner.

Well we have now had our first real SNOW day this past week with several cancellations and most people staying home.

Last week we had a good deal of snow and cold weather, this week that is all gone, well I guess that is what North Country weather is all about.

The recent cold weather shows us that we can not say that we have not had a real winter this year, lets hope that the extreme cold will kill all those germy bugs that ae floating around this season.

Holiday's are over and for most of us the decorations are put away for another year.

How quickly with the turn of the calendar into a new year we tend to fall into our regular routines.

Winter truly has arrived, big time and we are truly in a winter wonder land.

The end of the summer season in the Adirondacks seems to be ringing with music. There are all the fairs in the area and each features an outstanding music group.

We are not hearing the buzz of lawnmowers around the community, as most of our lawns are turning brown for lack of water. We are hopeful that the rain predictions will give assistance soon. It was another busy weekend with the downtown Essex days busy activities; many people came out to enjoy the outing. This summer we have noticed many bikers travailing through our community, this seems to be a popular route. This past weekend we had large number of bikers go through with a motorcycle escort to block intersections for them to travel through safely.
