Decorated trees in Lake George's Shepard Park glow in December 2010 after being energized by Santa during the municipality's annual 'Lite Up the Village' celebration. This year's edition of the fest is to be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday Nov. 13. Caroling and children's activities begin at 4 p.m.; Bobby Dick presents a holiday show at 5 p.m., Santa arrives and throws the switch at 6 p.m., then he and accompanying festivities move to the Lake George Firehall, where there children can visit with Sanata, and members of the Lake George Community Band will perform live.
