Girl Scouts careen down Dynamite Hill in Chestertown in a prior year’s Krazy Downhill Derby. This year’s edition, set for Saturday Feb. 22 will be featuring accounts of escapades from the early days of Dynamite Hill, which is about 50 years old. Stories, photos and recollections of experiences on the ski slope are now being sought from people who grew up in the region.

Dynamite Hill has been a popular Northern Warren County skiing venue for 50 years — generations of local residents spent many hours of their formative years there. Now, loal folks are urged to share their photos and memories of bygone days at Dynamite Hill in Chestertown, to be shared at the upcoming Krazy Downhill Derby, held annually at the ski slope.
