Hundreds bask on Lake George's Million Dollar Beach, a venue that attracts visitors from all over the northeastern U.S.. The state Department of Environmental Conservation is planning to reconstruct the Beach's parking lot and its access roadway — and site a new boat launch to the east of the beach — and a public hearing is set for 7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 14 at the Lake George Town Hall concerning the agency's plans.
