Adirondack Balloon Festival founder Walt Grishkot — visionary, huckster, showman and promoter extraordinaire — was recalled Feb. 25 at the Lake George Winter Carnival Gala dinner-dance, which was dedicated to Grishkot and his beloved wife Joan for their decades of service to the carnival and other Warren County events.
