Winners from the 2012 Scrabble Tournament for first place was Norman Swift (right) from Ticonderoga. Katy Adams of Northville took second place(left), and Linda Gerardi (center)from Ticonderoga placed third.

Scrabble tournament planned for literacy awareness
The Literacy Volunteers of Essex/ Franklin Counties will be holding its Winter Scrabble Tournament and Scrabble Day on Saturday, March 2, in Saranac Lake and Port Henry.
