Chestertown residents John MacMillen, owner of MacMillen Construction & Design, and Angie Mead, Associate Broker at Gallo Realty, were “arrested” July 17 at their respective businesses and “put behind bars” at the Boardwalk Restaurant in Lake George to raise funds for charity. MacMillen was arrested for ‘being full of kindness’ and Mead was arrested for ‘having a big heart’. Their friends and associates raised no less than $5,059 in “bail money” for the Muscular Dystrophy Association — enough to send six children to camp for a week this summer.
