Hoss Logan, age 13, shot this 20-pound turkey during the special youth hunt April 21. The bird was called in with the help of Dennie Westover and Roger Schreiber. It had a 9-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. Hoss is the son of Larissa Robare of Westport. It was his first time out hunting. Congratulations Hoss!
