More than 100 faculty, staff and students from the Ticonderoga High School celebrated Earth Day by volunteering to help clean up around Ticonderoga. The volunteers working with the Ticonderoga Highway Department picked up hundreds of pounds of garbage and litter. The volunteers focused on the areas surrounding the high school, Baldwin Road, Black Point Road, La Chute River Trail and Little League fields. Among those taking part were, front from left, Katelyn Barrows, Georgette Faziolli, Lucy LaPeter, Lindsey Hellier, Shawn Silliman and Maegan Ross; back, Garrison Hughes, Dale Quesnel, Nicole Fuller, Lillith Ida and Brenna Michalak.
