First Night festivities planned in Saranac Lake
The Saranac Lake First Night Committee looked past the impending doom that was scheduled for Dec. 21 and made their preparations anyway for the annual First Night event, which kicks off at the Harrietstown Hall Monday, Dec. 31, at 5:45 p.m. with opening ceremonies and ends at midnight with a traditional ball drop and New Year’s Day celebration.
