Runners will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as part of the grand opening celebration for the new Lake Champlain Bridge. “The New York/Vermont 5K Champlain Bridge Run,” a 5-kilometer (3.1 miles) road race, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20.
