Putnam Central School held an Easter egg hunt for its students April 5. Children didn’t seem to the mind the cold weather as they collected treats.

The area’s smallest school district continues to get smaller. Enrollment at Putnam Central School has declined each of the past three years — a trend that is expected to continue.
