Carillon Garden Club members Jackie Viestenz and Joyce Cooper and honorary member, Jerry Cooper met recently to tidy-up the Ticonderoga entryway garden at the intersection of Race Track Road and Rte. 9N. The garden was installed as a club project in memory of former member, Marjorie Cook. The Carillon Garden Club last met on Thursday, April 19, at the Hague Community Center on Route 8 in Hague. Founded in 1974, the club promotes civic beauty by planting flowers at Heritage Commons, the Post Office and entryway gardens in Ticonderoga as well as maintaining the entryway garden at the visitor’s building in Hague. New members are encouraged to join and share in the projects, the informative meetings and fellowship with other gardeners.
