Francis L. Burdick U.S. Veteran

Schroon Lake, NY; Francis L. Burdick 80 passed away suddenly Tuesday March 4 2014 at his home with his loving wife by his side.
He was born August 9 1933 in Shelbourne Falls MA. The son of the late Luke A. and Hilda E. Duffy Burdick.
He was also predeceased by his brother Charles and his sisters Pauline, Kathren and Janet.
Frank was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1954. He was a member of the Schroon Lake Senior Citizens Inc. where enjoyed calling the bingo games, the Schroon Lake Fish and Game club and a member of the Seagle Colony Guild.
Frank was a communicant and Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church. He was the head judge at the 4th of July parade in Schroon Lake.
Frank had an excellent tenor voice and enjoyed singing in variety shows.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years Kathryn Sheehy Burdick of Schroon Lake, his stepsons Michael (Iris) Dutton of Ponca, Ne. and Alexander (Gail) klein of Roslyn, Long Island, NY , his step grandsons, Joseph, John and Joshua Dutton and his step great grandson Blue Judah Dutton. His brothers Robert of Tn., Larry of NH and Roger of Fl, and his sister Donna Lee of Tx.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday Morning March 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Schroon Lake, Interment will be in the Gerald B. H. Soloman National Cemetery at convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt.9 Monday March 10, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
