The Bolton Landing Business Association and community members have once again decorated Bolton for the holiday season with white lights, wreaths, garland and banners throughout the town.

Very quiet week for this column.
It’s very quiet this week in Essex. The film society’s screen is dark, the stage at the Grange is empty and Main Street downtown is nearly devoid of cars.
This has truly been a week of thanksgiving for us here in this community.
The North Country SPCA has an incredible opportunity thanks to a very generous group of donors who have offered to match every doller we raise until Dec. 31 up to $40,000!
All I can think about, is “here we go again”, as the holidays crank up, I know that I just feel like complaining.
