New EPA study: Trout and salmon will vanish by 2100 without action on climate change

All of the Adirondack Park’s iconic trout and salmon fishing destinations and cold-water fisheries would disappear from the landscape by the end of the century without global action to prevent the climate from overheating the park’s rivers, lakes and streams, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported late Monday.

‘Bicycle Ride with Veterans’ through Chester and Wrnsbg. set for Sunday June 14

A patriotic bicycle ride for teenagers and adults through Chestertown, Warrensburg, Lake George, and Queensbury features citizens riding side-by-side with veterans and military personnel.
