Moriah Local basketball players laced up their sneakers and took to the Moriah Central court to raise funds for the Brian T. Carpenter Memorial Scholarship.
The tournament was held May 3-4 in the Moriah school gym.
“The tournament was a huge success,” said Matthew Brassard, event coordinator. “We ended up with six teams playing.”
After two days of double elimination play, Nate Gilbo’s yellow team took home the title of champions. Tournament MVP was Eric Leclair.
