To the Adirondack Journal:
I have some observations negative but truthful, about your story about rafting in your current issue of North Country Living.
Thom Randall’s story was fluff. The rafting industry on the Hudson has been beret by lax standards the whole time it has been in existence. For years I’ve been a lone voice crying out in the wilderness about this and have gotten nowhere.
I bailed out after guiding for almost 30 years in utter exasperation and disgust because of this.
The pictures on pages eight and nine show overloaded boats.
