Catwalk fundraiser to benefit emergency medical services

— Runway fashion is set to be the talk of the town in North Creek on June 20.

The North Creek Business Alliance is set to host its third annual fashion show. The event will be held at Riverside park and is set to include more than a dozen businesses, showcasing clothing and accessories modeled by citizens of the community.

The event sets the stage for buisnesess to advertise their merchandise on the runway.

“This year’s event is raising money for the Johnsburg EMS,” said Michelle San Antonio, event coordinator. “The committee recognizes that the EMS is raising funds for its new building. We hope this will help.”

The catwalk is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. and a silent auction is on the agenda for 6 p.m. Emcee Emily Stanton will be taking the stage for the event.

Ticket price for the evening is $15 including beverage tickets, appetizers and entertainment. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at Trimmer’s Salon or barVino.

“Each year gets better and we are thrilled with the attendance,” said San Antonio. “Come out and support Johnsburg EMS by attending this really fun fundraiser.”
