Willsboro 48, Elizabethtown-Lewis 28

The Warriors jumped out to a 10-2 lead after one quarter and used a 14-4 third quarter to pull away from the Lions for their fifth win of the season (5-8, 3-7) Jan. 30. Nick Arnold (10.8 ppg) led the Warriors with 20 points while Zach Pierson added 12, Lucas Cross 6, Nolan Murphy 2, Seth Swires 2, Cole Pierce 2, Jarrid McVicker 2, Jake Hubbard 1 and Chase Pierce 1.

For the Lions (3-12, 2-10), Cortland White (6.3 ppg) scored 7 while Justin LaPier added 6, RJ Plante 6, Austin Morris 3, Hugh Harwood 2, Zac Noka-Bailey 2 and Connor Marvin 2.

Westport 56, Chazy 41

The Eagles from the south outscored Chazy 24-14 over the middle two quarters of play to earn their ninth win of the season (9-4, 7-3) Jan. 30. Sam Napper scored 16 points to lead the Eagles in scoring, while Anderson Gay (10.5 ppg) added 13, Thomas Mero 11, Ryan Davis (12.2) 10, John Doyle 4 and RJ King 2.

Girls basketball

AuSable Valley 70, Saranac Lake 24

The Lady Patriots held Saranac Lake to single digits in each of the four quarters of play in cruising to their 12th win of the season Jan. 30 (12-2, 9-2). Jeanna Manning and Madison Rondeau (7.9 ppg) each scored 12 points in the win, while Taylor Saltus (11.6) scored 11, Madison McCabe 9, Meghan Strong (12.9) 6, Logan Snow 6, Kourtney Keenan 6 in her first varsity game, Sydney Snow 6 and Nicole SantaMaria 2.
