The 80 percent of the homes that are regular readers far exceeds the performance of any other medium available in our region and the 18 percent of homes who do not regularly read the paper represents well over $150,000 that could be used to improve local employment and keep more dollars flowing through our local economy.
As we work through these changes over the next few months, should your home or business not receive a copy of the paper as you normally have in the past and still want a copy of the paper delivered each week, please call our office or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add your address to our list. If you prefer not to receive the printed copy, please let us know and we will remove your address from the list until a new request is received from that address.
On a separate note, I must take this opportunity to commend our staff. We have a tremendous number of dedicated employees who work long, hard and varied hours insuring the news coverage, advertising sales, production and delivery of your weekly newspaper.
I’m proud to announce that in addition to focusing their efforts on their jobs, they also recognize the role our company plays in community affairs and looking after our neighbors in need.
We just concluded our most recent United Way Employee Drive and I am proud to announce our staff will be contributing $8,555 to the United Way this coming year. The average donation per employee was over $275 and I think that speaks volumes for the quality of our team and the commitment they have to our region.
Giving back is, in so many ways, more rewarding than receiving and they continue to impress me with their generosity and selfless approach to life. Our team is the absolute best and I am honored to have them be a big part of our organization and family.
