New gallery's spring exhibit debuts

The Giant Mountain Studio art gallery in Schroon Lake is a new addition to the cultural landscape of the southern Adirondacks, offering various fine art exhibits featuring a variety of media, as well as a selection of handscrafted rustic furniture. The gallery is located at 1094 U.S. Rte. 9 in Schroon Lake, NY. An opening reception is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4 and all are invited.

— Giant Mountain Studio Art Gallery, a new venue in the regional cultural landscape, is hosting an opening reception for its spring exhibit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4. The gallery is located at 1094 U.S. Rte. 9, Schroon Lake. All are invited to attend.

Varied media — including oil paintings, watercolors, drawing, photography, digital artwork and woodwork — will be featured. Artists with works on display include Rhea Costello, Anne Gregson, Paul Lakata, Brant Davis, Mary Stewart, Nancy Austin, Anthony Ruiz, Eric Gulbrandsen and Ginni Campbell.

The gallery has to date featured a variety of innovative contemporary works of art. It also hosts an array of fine handcrafted rustic wood furniture.
