Fort Ticonderoga will celebrate fall in the Adirondacks with its Heritage, Harvest & Horse Festival. The day-long event will be held Saturday, Sept. 28.
continued “Localvore” will be a taste of local products and talents. It will feature live music noon to 4 p.m., locally-produced food from DaCy Meadow Farm, children’s heritage games and sack races, pony rides, a petting zoo, butter making demonstrations, horse-drawn wagon rides and locally-grown and made products such as artisanal cheese, hand-woven baskets, perennials and mums, produce, maple syrup, honey, apple products and more.
The festival will also visits to the fort’s “Heroic Maze: A Corn Maze Adventure,” where visitors can explore the six-acre corn maze designed in the shape of the fort and find their way through the maze by selecting the correct answers to clues connected to the fort’s history.
