Annual Sept. 11 memorial ceremony set for Wednesday eve.

— Warrensburg’s annual September 11 Memorial Service is to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 11 at the Floyd Bennett Bandstand on upper Main St.. The service is to honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks 12 years ago in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.

All are invited to attend the event, which is the most prominent memorial event of its kind in the region.

The memorial service is hosted by the Warrensburg Volunteer Fire Co. and annually a dozen or so fire companies and ambulance squads in the region participate.
