Don’t forget, the yearly Hunters Breakfast will be Oct. 26 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Wevertown Community Center. It will be hosted by the MountainView (Wesleyan) Community Church in Bakers Mills. The event will benefit children’s programs. Donations will be accepted.

The Flea Market/Food Sale at the Sodom Community Church did great. The Community Compassions use the money to help many out during the Christmas season and other needs. A big thanks to absolutely everyone who helped make this possible in any way.

The Memorial Service for Lee Armstrong was Saturday at the Alexander Funeral Home in Warrensburg with the fellowship sharing meal afterward at the Wevertown Community Center. Thanks to all who shared their time and thoughts.

Flossie Bates fell last Monday down her cellar stairs and fractured her left ankle on both sides and dislocated it. She was expected to have surgery Monday, Oct. 21.

Jim Bond fell off a ladder while trying to put something back in place and broke both ankles. 

Sarah Wagner had to have a toe removed because of diabetes and soon after that surgery had to have an appendectomy. 

Elwin Austin is in the hospital for the second time in just a few days.

Sara O’Truba has been in ICU at Albany Medical Hospital for several days.

Jim Watsaw is home from the hospital after having back surgery. He is gaining slowly.

Dan Hitchcock Jr. had back surgery recently.

Keith Allen is home and going to Adirondack Tri-County for rehab.

Hunting season is here. Good luck, hunters. I wish you safety wherever you hunt.

I took Dad to the eye specialist in Saratoga on Friday. Lots of construction along the way.
