Decadence to play for cancer benefit Oct. 26 in Wevertown

— Decadence is a local country-rock duo — Jennifer Gadway and Katy Cole — and Katy Cole is Sally Lawrence’s daughter. It’s a family affair.

“They generously donated their time,” Hunter said.

The benefit will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Wevertown Community Center. It’s being dubbed as “a gathering of love and support for Kris Harvey.” There will be an on-site raffle of local products and services. People may dine in or take out. Dinner tickets are $10 each and can be purchased ahead of time at the Community Bank in North Creek (251-2441). All proceeds will go toward Harvey’s medical bills and expenses.
