continued Farina wrote in a letter sent out to perspective helpers of the fundraiser that: “We are very hopeful that this fundraiser can serve to relieve some of Gail’s financial burden, and in the long run, alleviate much of the stress that comes with such concerns.”
“It’s going to be a really fun day, we’re hoping it’s a beautiful day but if it rains it won’t put a damper on it, we have a garage there we can move it to,” said Farina. “People just might not want to have their car washed in the rain.”
Raffle items will include a variety of themed baskets made by one of the event volunteers and Farina said more items are being sought.
“We have some time left but we are reaching out to businesses for donations, we’re hoping to have some outdoor furniture to raffle,” said Farina.
If anyone would like to make give but cannot make the fundraiser can drop off or mail a donation to Sharron Harmon, 450 Margaret Street, 12901.
