Clintonville The Valley News recently talked with the members of the AuSable Valley girls varsity basketball team, which is heading to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association's Class C Final Four at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy Saturday, March 16, where they will play Bishop Kearney at 2:15 p.m.
All of the 14 players on the team were asked the same two questions: what is you first memory in the game of basketball and what it meant to them to be going to the state Final Four. here are some of their answers:

What is your first basketball memory?
Playing for Keeseville Elementary School in third grade.
What does it mean to be going to the NYSPHSAA Final Four?
It means a lot to be here being a freshman and watching this team and all that they did to come this far.

Playing for the Pink Panthers in third grade.
What does it mean to be going to the NYSPHSAA Final Four?
I think that it is really exciting to be the first from the school and getting the chance to come up from JV and be part of this team.
