Clintonville The Valley News recently talked with the members of the AuSable Valley girls varsity basketball team, which is heading to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association's Class C Final Four at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy Saturday, March 16, where they will play Bishop Kearney at 2:15 p.m.
All of the 14 players on the team were asked the same two questions: what is you first memory in the game of basketball and what it meant to them to be going to the state Final Four. here are some of their answers:

In fifth grade when we won the Missing Children's Tournament and I won my first MVP award.
What does it mean to be going to the NYSPHSAA Final Four?
It is what I have been working for since day one of my career at AuSable Valley.

Playing in elementary school with the Pink Panthers.

It is really exciting because this is the first time that a girls team has done this. It is nice knowing that you will be remembered for that.
