Still waiting for true summer to arrive. I started my wood stove last night. It stays so breezy and cool but the “All Jaws” and blackflies are out. They love to take a bite when you are outside trying to enjoy whatever good weather we have.

Hope all you dad’s had a great Father’s Day and were able to have a cookout before the rain started.

Victor Dunkley is doing great with his treatments. He only has two more weeks to go. So far he is still able to eat fairly well.

Congratulations to all you seniors for the years of study and be with you all as you go out in the working or college world.

Baccalaureate was held at the Sodom Community on Sunday night on Father’s Day. It was wonderful to see the ones that were there with family and friends. The “Pop Singers” did a great job.

Graduation for JCS will be on Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m.

Pat Porter is home from the hospital and after needing help for two weeks is doing great. Soon will be out and about.

Muriel LaPointe is in the hospital. Also, Bill Durkin was taken to the hospital. Rollin Swinton is still a patient at Glens Falls Hospital.

Dauphin Conlon stayed with Grandma Kj on Saturday night. Kurt and Nate Fuller spent the night with their grandparents, Corky and Penny Goodspeed, in Olmstedville.

Alonzo Conlon and son, Ian, enjoyed camping out on Saturday night even though were quite chilly. Then on Sunday with Aaron they enjoyed four-wheeler rides. Fabiann Conlon and son, Dauphin, enjoyed hiking on Saturday.

For Father’s Day, I took Dad and Dezore Cleveland to “The Place” on Saturday night for supper. It was great to see several friends there and gets lots of friendly hugs. On Sunday, Keisha Sprague took Dad and myself to the “Golden Pines” after church for Father’s Day.
