“We absolutely love Lake George,” he said. “It’s a beautiful place for our artists and staff to finish our very successful 2013 season.”
Lake George Chamber President Michael Consuelo was on hand Wednesday to welcome Larson and the circus staff to town.
He said that area community leaders and residents were enthusiastic that Big Apple Circus, a top international attraction, was returning for another season in Lake George.
“We’re excited and delighted,” he said. “Words can’t express how happy we are to see our friends from Big Apple again.”
The award-winning circus, based in New York City, has been located for similar stints in such high-profile places as Boston, the Washington D.C. area, as well as Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
