“‘Much Ado About Nothing’ is the first of two main productions planned for this season, according to Essex Theatre Company President Kathy Poppino.
“The second will be ‘Becky Shaw,’ which will be held in August,” Poppino said. “On July 26, we will have our ‘Broadway Through the Years’ performance, which will be a history of Broadway with singing and dancing, hors d’oevres, a cash bar and a Chinese auction.”
“Becky Shaw” will take to the stage Aug. 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24 at 7 p.m., along with Aug. 18 at 2 p.m.
