Heidi Treadway of Menands, daughter of Lemuel and Susan Treadway of Moriah, has been named to the dean’s list at Bryant & Stratton College. She is majoring in the health services administration bachelor’s degree program.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled in a full-time program and attain a quality point average of 3.3 or higher.

Kimberly Herrick of Hague is a member of the Class of 2013 at Hudson Valley Community College.

Herrick graduated from the dental hygiene program.

SUNY-Potsdam awarded nearly 900 undergraduate and graduate degrees during its 2013 commencement ceremonies, including:

Tyler French of Moriah, who earned a degree in biology 7-12 (master of science in teaching).

Amber Perkins of Ticonderoga, who earned a degree in psychology.

Donald Tesar of Port Henry, who earned a degree in childhood/early childhood education.

Rachel Woods of Moriah, who earned a degree in art studio.

Rachel Woods of Moriah was named to the president’s list at SUNY-Potsdam. Woods, whose major is art studio, was among 827 SUNY Potsdam students who were honored for academic excellence in the spring 2013 semester.

SUNY-Potsdam named Amanda French of Moriah to the dean’s list. French, whose major is art studio, was among 377 students who were honored for academic excellence in the spring 2013 semester.

Katelyn Rose of Schroon Lake has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at Plattsburgh State. She is a sophomore studying communication disorders and sciences.

Area students were recently named to the president’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2013 semester at SUNY Canton.

To receive president’s list honors, full-time students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Cited were:

Chelsea M. MacDougal a veterinary technology major from Mineville. MacDougal is a graduate of Moriah Central School.

Kaylee M. Sprague an emergency management major from Moriah Center. Sprague is a 2008 graduate of Moriah Central School.

Karin M. Bogart a SUNY Canton dental hygiene major from Ticonderoga, made dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester. Bogart is a 1994 graduate of Crown Point Central School.

Dean’s list requires full-time students to achieve a grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
