continued "I don't think they realize there is a lake between here and Vermont," one person commented.
Sands said that they would include that fact in their final report. He added that USPS would be looking at the option of keeping the lobby open 24 hours a day, with landlord approval.
All this, Sands said, was being done because of the financial crisis that is facing the Postal Service.
"In the Albany District, we had seven different location where we would process and cancel mail and in a couple of months we will be down to only two," he said. "It is all coming to a culmination where we have to make some changes."
