Warrensburg Town Court Report

Dec. 12

Judge Mindy Fisk presiding

• Joseph R. Giustino, 28, of Forest Lake Road in Warrensburg was committed to Warren County Jail for three months, following his Guilty plea of third-degree Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer, based on an incident May 18. His sentence from another conviction during November in Glens Falls city court is to be served concurrently. Giustino fled from police down Rte. 9 exceeding the speed limit and crossing a double yellow line before police apprehended him.

• Andrew Keith of 6 Luse Lane, Warrensburg, was arraigned on a Misdemeanor Charge of Maintaining a Junkyard at a home he was renting at 826 Alden Avenue. The enforcement action was taken by town Code Enforcement officer Chris Belden under the town’s ordinances.

Belden said Keith was sent six violation notices on similar incidences and had been in court two times prior. Belden said Keith had stored garbage and refuse in his home and property: in his basement, his front deck. Belden also said that a storage shed beside his house was filled chest-high with “raw household garbage” that posed a public health hazard. In court documents, Belden said that Keith had windows missing in his basement, allowing rodents and other animals to roam in his house. Belden also said that he stored 50 tires in piles at the back of his property, and that he burned garbage in a fire pit in his back yard — which not only releases toxins into the air, but is against state law.

• Tammy S. Winslow, 50, of 186 Rollies Road appeared on a charge of Aggravated DWI based on a traffic stop at about midnight Nov. 7. She also faces a charge of Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle. Due to a prior DWI-related conviction, she is facing a Felony charge, and the case was waived up to Warren County Court. Her driver’s license was suspended pending prosecution, but she was granted a hardship privileges in order to drive to work due to no public transportation available in Warrensburg.
