Maple Days will once again be held in Thurman the three weekends in mid-March, so bring the whole family to visit all six sites. Young and old alike enjoy watching maple syrup being made before their eyes. There are four maple farms nestled right here in Thurman: Adirondack Gold, Valley Road, Hidden Hollow and Toad Hill.

Those who visit them all will see an array of different maple products, which include syrup, maple sugar, maple peanuts and candies being made, as well as maple tea and coffee and souvenir clothing items.

Sugarhouses will open their doors for touring and tasting, sampling and shopping; Martin's Certified Tree Farm will offer demonstrations of their sawmill operation, as well as craft demonstrations and items for sale.

Just down the road, find Nettle Meadow Farm, with tastings of goat and sheep cheeses. Nettle Meadow will be open both Saturday and Sunday each of the three weekends from noon to 3 p.m.

Valley Road Maple Farm invites you to come early, their doors open at 9 a.m. to enjoy a pancake breakfast served with their Thurman maple syrup!
