— “We have Roe Pond which is a designated pond for kids to fish in,” Moriah Supervisor Tom Scozzafava said. “We also opened it up to senior citizens as well and everyone had a ball. They all enjoy fishing on the pond it is easy to get to.”

Hatch said that he still would prefer the trout be stocked in local streams and rivers and suggested stocking another fish than trout.

“These trout are an expensive investment for us,” he said. “I think that they need to be in the rivers. Kids should learn how to fish in the rivers, too.”
