Neil Thomas Guay graduated from Northeastern Clinton Central School in 1988. Over the next 20 years, Neil committed himself to law enforcement and public service. Among his professional achievements, he serves as a military policeman in the US Marine Corps, deputy sheriff, detective, volunteer fireman, US Federal Air Marshall in the Department of Homeland Security, and a member of the FBI Counter-Terrorism Task Force for five years.
In January 2008, Neil was promoted to Assistant Federal Security Director-Law Enforcement for Eastern Virginia.
Neil undertook his law enforcement responsibilities with seriousness of purpose, integrity, honor, and distinction.
The Neil Thomas Guay Memorial Law Enforcement Scholarship is intended for a graduating senior of NCCS who plans to pursue a career in law enforcement. Recipients of the $1,000 scholarship have been Austin Wrye of Rouses Point, Kaylan Short of Champlain, and Kamen Carson of Alburg, Vt.
