continued — Osborne said the board wanted to bring both propositions to the public for a vote because building aid rates are good at this time.
The vote will take place March 5 instead of during the May budget vote because, according to Osborne, the school wants to be ready to move into the design and bid stages.
“When you are examining timelines with state education, you have to give some time for the project to be approved and RFP’s to go out,” Osborne said. “We want to be able to start this project July 1 and tackle the bulk of the work in the summertime when the students and faculty are not in session.”
