The Lady Beavers held a huge advantage on the boards as they cruised their third win of the season against Crown Point. Hanna Whitney (16.0 ppg) paced the Beavers with 18 points, while Naomi Peduzzi (11.5) scored 16, Tucker Geiger (13.0) 14, Taylor Geiger 6, Elaina Smith 3 and Madison Gifford 2.

AuSable Valley 54, Plattsburgh High 37

The Lady Patriots jumped out to a 16-5 first quarter lead in cruising to a win over Plattsburgh High. Taylor Saltus (17.0 points per game) scored 18 to lead the Patriots while Meghan Strong (13.5) and Logan Snow each added 11, Madison Rondeau 10, Sydney Snow 2 and Madison McCabe 2.

Boys basketball

Keene 38, Crown Point 29

The Beavers were strong in the bookend quarters, outscoring Crown Point 12-4 in the opening eight minutes and 15-5 at the end in scoring their fifth win of the season and fourth in NBL Division III play. Colton Venner (16.0 ppg) led the Beavers with 19 points while Brandon Dumas scored 8 (12.0), Justin Haverlick 5, Austin Brown (10.8) 4 and Gabe Warner 2.

Westport 38, Lake Placid 29

The Eagles outscored Lake Placid 27-14 in the second half to score their first win in Northern Basketball League Division II play (second overall). Sam Napper led the Eagles with 13 points with John Doyle scoring 8, Thomas Mero 7, Anderson Gay 3 and Tyrell Tryon 2. The Bombers held Westport leading scorer Ryan Davis (14.8 ppg) to 5 points.

Moriah 61, Willsboro 39

Moriah jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the opening eight minutes of play to defeat the Warriors in Northern Basketball League Division II play. Keenen Hampton (11.0 ppg) scored 14 points for the Warriors while Zach Pierson, Seth Swires and Lucas Cross each scored 7. Nolan Murphy and Jake Hubbard each scored 2 points.
