August warms up with ALCA’s Shakespeare in the Park (Aug. 1); Adirondack Museum Antique Show & Sale (Aug. 10-11); Adirondack Museum American Mountain Men Encampment (Aug. 16-17); and ends with ILVFD Pig Roast (Aug. 31).

September brings brilliant fall colors and the Adirondack Museum Rustic Furniture Fair (Sept. 14-15); Adirondack Mountain Antique Show (Sept. 18-22); the Great Adirondack Moose Festival (Sept. 28-29).

October brings the chilly weather and Adirondack Museum’s Fall Fest (Oct. 5) followed by a haunting good time with the Halloween Fun Parade & Festival (Oct. 31).

Snow typically appears in November getting all of us ready for the holiday season starting with Election Day Dinner (Nov. 5); Country Christmas Tour (Nov. 29-30); and Bazaar & Bake Sale (Nov. 23). The Children’s’ Holiday Gift Shop brings out Santa’s helpers (Nov. 7).
