“The players are scrambling to get the ball — they want the ball home base, hit to them,” Reynolds said. “We’re gelling as a team.”
This doesn’t mean the 2013 season is going to be easy, Reynolds warned.
“In the Adirondack League, you have to play your ‘A game’ every night,” he said. “I’m extremely encouraged to see the style of play they’re demonstrating, and if they continue to work hard like this, we’ll be around at the end of the season.”
