Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed sharing a meal with family and friends. It was such a great busy Holy Week. So many enjoyed going on Gore for the beautiful Sunrise Service to celebrate “the SON Arose.”

April 13. Mark your calendar for this date. FREE!! There will be so many all occasions dresses free at the Chester Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pass the word. Prom is coming and other occasions. There will be prizes and refreshments. Dresses from size 0 to 26. All colors and styles.

May 4 will be the yearly Spaghetti Dinner at Wevertown put on by the Community Compassions to help others in the area.

Jill Swinton enjoyed her week off from teaching by spending the week with her dad, Rollin Swinton, and brother, Barry.

Many will have this week off and they are enjoying vacations and traveling. Hope the travel club has a wonderful time on their trip.

Congratulations to all students that made high honor and honor roll. Great job.

Bill Conlon is home after spending time with family in Kentucky, where the weather was warmer than here.

There’s a three-way special celebration at the Conlon home in Selkirk. Alonzo's 46th birthday, Easter and the baptism of 2-year-old Ava. Family joined in the celebration. Derek Millington is godfather of miss Ava.

So sorry to hear about the deaths of: Mary Schaefer (sister to Evelyn Green), Bev LaBounty, Juanita Witham Bardon, and Charlie Beaudet.

The road crews have been busy trying to fix the rough roads. Thanks.
