Help your children achieve

Elementary students in Grade 3 through 6 will be undergoing their English Language Arts testing Tuesday April 16 through Thursday April 18. In addition, at the High School the 7th & 8th Grade students will also be taking their English assessments on the same days as stated above.

While it’s a good practice all year long, Make sure your child is well rested and has eaten a nutritious breakfast on testing days.

Easter party was well attended

The town’s annual Easter party, held March 23 at the town hall was a huge success. The children participated in an egg hunt and colored eggs as well. Also, there were a lot of goodies to eat.

The winner of the big chocolate bunny door prize was Jon Russell. Leigha Rising won the egg filled with candy after she guessed the correct amount of candy in the egg. The winners of the Easter baskets were John Sutphin, Nolan Lilly and James Binder. The winners of the girls’ baskets were Hayleigh Henderson, Catherine Hall and Emily Ewald.

The Youth Commission thanks all who helped in any way to make the party such a success. A special thanks go to the Warren County Youth Court teenagers and mentors for all their help.
