Annual sale is now approaching

Now is also the time for Thurman residents to start thinking about what items to include in the Thurman Townwide Yard Sale which is coming up next month.

Any businesses that would like to place an ad in the Townwide Sale map booklet should do so now. Sally Drexel will be handling the ads this year. She can be reached at 623-2203 or at edsald1@verizon.net.

In recent years, I’ve noticed that some of the most popular items at this big sale are books, kitchen items, gently used furniture, gently used children’s clothing, garden supplies, tools, and fishing supplies, to name a few. The sale is to be held on it’s traditional dates, the weekend after Mother's Day — May 17, 18 and 19.
