On Sept. 4, a flare gun was again used on Norrisville Road in Schuyler Falls. The flare gun was discharged at a mobile home twice. One flare lodged in an interior wall of the residence after passing through a window and the second was lodged in the vinyl siding. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
A second incident was reported on Sept. 4, when a flare gun was shot at a residence on Caulkins Road in Peru. The flare gun was discharged at the home and broke a window and lodged in a vacuum next to the window. There were burn marks on the window and vacuum.
These incidents are being investigated by the New York State Police in Plattsburgh. Anyone with information regarding the case should call 563-3761.
